Experiments at field, laboratory and growth chambers related to plant-water-soil relationships, chlorophyll fluorescence, photosystem II bioenergetics, water use efficiency, gas exchange parameters (photosynthesis, transpiration, stomatal conductance, intracellular CO2 concentration and respiration), biofuel and bioenergetic plants and growth of plants under unfavorable growth conditions such as salinity, drought and chilling.
